What's in the Cloud? An Introduction to Wireline, Wireless, and Fiber Optics (Room H132)

The communications cloud is often used to represent network infrastructure. This session has the goal of tying together all the various delivery and transport technologies that, when combined together form our present day integrated communications networks. Coverage of delivery technologies will be segmented under the categories of wireline, wireless, and fiber optics. Coverage of cloud transport technologies will also be discussed.

This is an introductory course. Four hours will be spent on 4G-LTE.
